Karen Netscher

Karen was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She has an older sister and a younger half-brother and is the daughter of a teacher father and writer mother. After graduating from law school she decided she'd rather pursue a career in acting, dancing and singing. After following acting studies at Le Pavegnon and Theatre School De Trap in Amsterdam, she followed an acting training at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. After several small roles in Dutch TV Series and TV commercials Karen was offered the leading role of Lizzy in the short film "Set In Stone" by writer and director Bruno Ramos. The short film was entered in the Cannes Film Festival, Court Metrage of May, 2013. Karen is a screen actress as well as a stage actress. She's working on both national as well as international films, TV series and plays.
