Daniel Govia

Toronto based film producer & director Daniel Govia CEO of Magic Button Films. Known for his passion for storytelling, art and architecture. His taste and interests in pop culture, fashion, comic books, animation, classic/modern art and photography has had huge influences in his creative vision and attention to visual detail, and ability to capture innovative images, emotions and storytelling in music & film. Daniel attended film school in Toronto. Upon graduation, he started interning at Warner Bros.Canada where he learned a lot about production, distribution and marketing in the film industry. Shortly after, he began interning and freelancing for production companies like The Field/ 235 Films & Spyfilms. Daniel has had the opportunity to learn and shadow from top commercial and music video directors in the business. His style of storytelling has added a flair to his visuals and commercial/music video treatments. Director Daniel Govia's "Her City" a style based spec commercial has caught the attention of ELLE Canada & Sutherland Models. Shortly after he booked the "Venque" campaign, Reebok and Cavallo Commercial. His recent project with Magic Button Films Creator & Director of "Neon Nights" Rise Of The Triad Underworld, is a martial arts action series. This is just the beginning for this promising young film director.
