Ava Walraven is a third generation valley girl from Los Angeles. Her father was a Lockheed Martin Skunkworks Aerospace Engineer and her mother is a writer and artist. Her birthdate was chosen for the same day as Fish Salmon's, Lockheed's fist test pilot. An avid athlete, she is involved in Semi pro soccer, skateboarding, and surfing. She also won the Miss Fallbrook Mall beauty pageant. Ava was recognized as Gifted and Talented (GATE)in Performing Arts at El Camino Real High School and invited to attend the Los AngelesConservatory of Fine Arts at age 17. At Santa Monica College she practiced scene study and later transfered to UC San Diego where she majored in International Political Science and studied Dialects with Eva Barnes in the notable UCSD Theater department. Her senior year she crashed the auditions for the college play and landed a role in Balm in Gilead at the La Jolla Playhouse. Ava has also attended classes at Playhouse West, Stella Adler, and Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum.
