Reena Jadhav

Reena Jadhav is an Indian actress who started her career with a devotional music video. Post the success of the video she was offered a role in the Marathi show Family dot com aired on DD1 Marathi. She made her silver screen debut with an award-winning film He Milan Shoubhagyache (2013) which was a love triangle featuring Milind Gavali and Dipali Sayed. The film was also accolades for the Phalke Puraskar award for the best regional film of the year, where her performance was appreciated. Post the success of He Milan Shoubhagyache, she was certain to work on a film that highlights the social drama. Her second film Aabhran (2015) was based on such a subject. The word 'Aabhran' represents a piece of multi-colored clothing that is worn around the waist. This offbeat drama brings to light the extraordinary ritual called "Potraj", that has plagued the local communities in Maharashtra. After Aabhran, Reena was also seen in Shikshnacha Jai Ho (2014) and Nayak Tuch Tandero Shilpakar (2021). Recently she has turned into a producer with Merit Animal (2022). Merit Animal is a social drama that deals with missing childhood for the rat race. The film has made its global appearance and is well taken by the audience, now it is set to release in India.
