Alex Amelines

Alex Amelines was born in Medellín, Colombia in 1971. Unwittingly, he began his animation career in the year 2000 when he moved to London to brush up on his traditional animation skills at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. Since then he has worked with several high profile clients, production companies and agencies, creating animated sequences for a variety of platforms. From television through to giant exhibition screens. Although his true passion lies in the storytelling, his work is very versatile and he loves to dabble in other challenging and interesting fields. The creation of the visual effects for the feature film The Fitzroy (2017) was his debut on the silver screen. He's now permanently based in London where he works from his own animation outfit: Studio Tinto.
