Ana Ramón Rubio

Ana Ramón Rubio is a Spanish writer and director, known for the documentary _"almost Ghosts (2018)_ , digital series _"We all wanted to kill the President"_(2017)_ released in Amazon Prime Video in August 2018. After studying Visual Communication, she specialized with a postgraduate at the RTVE filmmaking school in Madrid and a postgraduate in Social Media at University of Alicante. Her beginnings at TV series started with an internship at the disappeared series _Stamos Okupa2 2012_, and _Sin Vida Propia (2013)_ was her first personal project as writer and director. Born in Valencia, Spain, she is winner of 'best writing' at Austin Web Festival (Texas), Best Directing of Comedy in Baltimore New Media Web Festival, Best Direction at Rome Web Awards (Italy) or 'Best international series' at Vancouver Web Fest. She also co-founded the web series section at Valencia International Film Festival - Cinema Jove and received the Audiovisual Award of Valencia from Levante-EMV in 2018. In 2018, she is nominated as Best Directing (Comedy) and Best Writing (Comedy) in the International Academy of Web Television (IAWTV).
