Heather Horwood

Heather Judith Horwood was born in 1941 and grew up in Mont Albert, Victoria, Australia. She joined Swallows Juniors on radio 3DB at age eight. She appeared in pantomimes at the Tivoli Theatre during her Christmas holidays in 1956, 1957 and 1958. Heather appeared with fellow Swallows Juniors alumni Ernie Sigley and Gaynor Bunning on Teenage Mailbag on HSV7 in 1957 and moved into adult variety programs on HSV7 and ABV2. She married John Pennell in 1960 and they have two sons and a daughter.
