Katia Nabil

Katia Nabil is a director, actress and internet personality from Tijuana, Mexico. She has a degree in marketing and trained at the New York Film Academy for Film Directing. After returning to Mexico, she continued her acting in live theater in 2013. She wrote and directed several films at the early age of 20, winning an award at the TV Azteca "Caminos DE la Libertad" with the short film "Libera Tu Guerrero". Years later, she was also awarded first place at the Rosarito Film Festival with the short film "Lost in Baja". Additionally, she received international attention from her short, "Bark of Luck", premiering at The San Diego Film Consortium's Fall Film Festival. Katia worked at Baja Studios in movies and TV series as a makeup artist and production assistant. "The Bride", "Fear The Walking Dead" and "Against the Sun" were among her projects. She ventured in directing her first Web Series for Youtube in 2015, entitled "Katia Nabil Web Series". It has been on air for five seasons (55 episodes) and acquired more than 100 million views on Youtube. It has become one of the most successful web series in Latin America.
