Stephan Miras

Stephan Miras (18 Dec 1982) is a Film and TV director/writer from Amsterdam. In his early 20's, he started making music video's and short films, with which he won several awards. Later on, he began directing TV commercials, television programmes and international documentary series, which allowed him to shoot in over 50 countries world wide. Together with acclaimed filmmaker Flip van der Kuil, Stephan Miras has created, written and directed several comedy series for Comedy Central, Videoland and BNN. In 2019, Stephan co-wrote and co-directed an episode for the critically acclaimed Random Shit. In 2020, Stephan created and wrote Barrie Barista en het Einde Der Tijden, together with Flip. In the same year, the two also created, wrote and directed the comedy series De Pudding Club for Comedy Central, which is set to be released in 2022. In 2021, Stephan and Flip created and made the comedy series Downtown. In the same year, they also wrote and directed the animated short film Red Fried District. In 2021, Stephan also co-wrote the comedy/crime series Woensel West, together with Paul de Vrijer. Stephan Miras has also published two books.
