Larissa Bryant the only child of Ronnie Bryant a pastor and the late Minnie Gayle Crenshaw Bryant a nurse has always had a knack for performance whether theatrical, musical, or athletically. Larissa plays multiple musical instruments including the piano, clarinet, saxophone, and bagpipes. Larissa's first interest in acting came in high school when she signed up for speech and drama. Despite there being a school theatrical production each year of high school she never auditioned as she was shy and involved in conflicting extra curricular activities including marching band and softball. However, she did thrive as a member of her high school's Beta chapter group talent of which took the National Championship honor her junior and senior years of High school at Glasgow High School. Larissa was born and raised in Glasgow, KY where acting opportunities where limited until as recent as 2017. Larissa's first extra role came by accident literally as the catering director of a movie being filmed in the area ran a stop sign totaling her father's truck. Her father expressed her interest of acting and was told to have her show up to the set! Yet again dear struck and she did not go. Later that day she was called by casting landing her first background character role in Runaway Romance. Larissa attended Glasgow High School in Glasgow, KY before attending college undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University following in her mother's footsteps becoming a nurse. She then chose to matriculate at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN attending the School of Nursing becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner of which she spent several years working before choosing a path in entertainment. Larissa had been bitten hard by the acting bug and was ready to pursue acting as a career when her life changed overnight due to a rare illness. She had lost her independence, ability to walk, stand, or use her hands and left arm. Defeated she excepted that a career in movies was unattainable. Five years later an opportunity presented itself to audition. Larissa has an interest in all aspects of film from acting to producing to being a crew member. Here mantra is "I will, I can, I must!" She is excited to see where her rekindled passion for the art of film will take her.
