Marie-Jeanne Maldague was raised in Brussels. She was introduced early in life to piano, dance and painting by her father, an engineer who was also an accomplished pianist, and by her mother, whose sharp artistic sense provided precious guidance. While raising her two children, she also volunteered at a crisis center during the nineteen-nineties; she worked mainly in suicide prevention, AIDS counseling and palliative care. She started her acting career at age 56. While receiving intensive training at "L'Acteur Au Quotidien" in Namur, she took continuing training classes in Brussels: Stanislavsky method with Boris Rabey, Meisner method with Pico Berkowich and John Flanders. Her first feature film experience took place next to Sharon Stone in a scene from "Largo Winch II". Since then, she has been featured as a comedian in numerous movies, short movies, advertisements, TV movies and TV series episodes.
