Laura Herr

Laura Herr began acting in local community theater, encouraged by her son, Jason Almerini, who was the first actor in the family. She has had the pleasure of working with many wonderful actors and directors, who prepared her for her venture onto the big screen. Laura grew up in Oceanport, NJ and lived in Monmouth County most of her life. She lived in London, England for 6 months in 1995-1996 when her son was an infant. She is a graduate of Georgian Court University with a BS in Business Administration. In 2002, she earned her private pilot's license and a few years later, her instrument rating. She is an inactive pilot, but hopes to return to the skies someday. While in grammar school, Laura developed a stutter that limited her ability to effectively communicate with others. With speech therapy and developing ways of altering her speech, she was able to overcome stuttering. Laura sits on the board of directors for Garden State Theater Company, based in Hazlet, NJ and is always searching for future choice rolls in theater and film.
