Amr Sherif El-Maghraby

Amr El Maghraby is a self-taught filmmaker who started working in the field of advertising and production during his college years. After graduating business school, he gained some valuable experience in the film industry by working as a production manager in a number of big-budget movies. However, he decided to follow his true passion and become a director. He sold his car in order to self-fund his first movie, Nostalgia, which received critical acclaim upon being featured at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market. He currently continues to write, direct and produce his own short films, as well as working as a freelance filmmaker in various commercials and TV projects.
