Morgan Ashley Brown

Morgan Ashley is an actress, singer, songwriter and creative writer. She performed a recurring acting role on the BET television show, "Beauty and the Baller", and was the youngest cast member, was the solo featured actress throughout singer TON's "Waterfall" music video and was in a four-girl singing group for two years. The group appeared in many top industry shows and were offered two recording contracts. The group members were also featured cast members in a television reality show pilot. Morgan is very comfortable on the stage and performing in front any size audience or set. She showed performing talents at the age of two, and by three, she expressed an interest to be on television. The following year, her mother enrolled her in the famed Alliance Theater acting program in Atlanta, Georgia. An avid reader and remarkable at memorizing her lines, she appeared in many performances over six years, including an all female cast of Macbeth at the age of seven, and also danced in the Jagged Edge music video, "Let's Get Married" remix. She's performed singing solo in the La Voix Studios Winter Gala for several years. Moving to Los Angeles, Morgan began private acting lessons with veteran coaches, joined the Beverly Hills Theater 40 program and high school acting program, worked on televisions sets for several years, performed in shows, enrolled in vocal and piano lessons, recorded many songs in the studio and was in several music videos. She took more time to focus on her education and was accepted into college, completing three and a half years, as she pursues her bachelors degree. Morgan began writing her first novel, and plans for this to be the first of many published novels. Her other talents have included, playing the flute, reading sheet music, songwriting, spoken word, reporting on KBEV Television, dancing and acting in music videos, live performances and competition cheer-leading. She touts a comedic personality and an infectious positive energy. Morgan is the product of an entertainment industry family, Her immediate lineage includes, her mother, Karla Gordy Bristol, a television talk show host on "Beverly Hills View", and former music industry dancer/choreographer; her father, Tyrone Brown, a former Harlem Globetrotter athlete; her grandmother, Iris Gordy, a former Vice President at Motown Records and her grandfather, Johnny Bristol, a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter.
