Keith Kelly

Keith Kelly is a professional film, TV, and commercial actor and VO artist based in Chicago, Illinois. His versatility in shifting from white collar to blue collar roles is a testament to his training and devotion to the craft, and he's on his way to becoming one of the market's busiest actors over 50. He's represented exclusively in the Midwest by DDO Artists Agency in Chicago. Keith frequently works in the genre of comedy, often appearing as eccentric or clueless yet lovable characters. His polished delivery and serious demeanor have led to roles conveying a sense of power, too, including detectives, politicians, judges, clergymen, news anchors, and more in a variety of genres. The same ingredients lead to frequent opportunities for Keith to work on corporate projects as a host or spokesperson. The Chicago native studied theatre while an undergraduate in college. Since then, he's continued to train in the craft of acting on camera through numerous classes and workshops throughout the Midwest. One of his notable past roles as a live performer was entertaining audiences as Clark Kent/Superman. The work as the Man of Steel was well-suited for Keith who grew up following Superman's adventures in DC Comics and bore a striking resemblance to actor Christopher Reeve, star of four Superman movies distributed by Warner Bros. As a child growing up in the working class neighborhood of Marquette Park, he showed early interest in performing for live audiences when he formed an entertainment company with his brother, a magician. Keith performed as a Ventriloquist and Puppeteer for school-age audiences in the area. He points to the late Paul Winchell, a successful ventriloquist, comedian, and actor during Keith's formative years, as a major influence on his decision to develop skills as a ventriloquist and puppeteer.
