Rio McDowell

Rio Silas McDowell, an aspiring Independent Writer, and Film Director/Producer out of Old Town Scottsdale, made a name for himself starting in freelance cinematography, and film production here in the valley under his personal LLC, Red River Productions. He began to work on much larger projects when he started his education at the Scottsdale School of Film + Theatre in 2013. He began working as a Production Assistant on various sets, and eventually moved up to directing and producing his own short films, working on much larger crews as a Second Unit Production Manager, or 2nd AD, and numerous other positions. Rio has taken these opportunities to further push his objective of becoming a film director/producer, and moving out to L.A., where he plans to continue working with family and friends of ours, shooting features, and traveling the world in search for the awe-inspiring moments of love, compassion, art, culture, food and more.
