Born in Paris in 1978, from a German mother and an Italian father, she begins to show interest in acting already as a child. In 1993 at the age of 15, she starts to experience the basics of filmmaking with her first Hi8 camcorder and later, from '94 to '99, she writes screenplays and comic video clips in which she enjoys playing all the roles, both female and male. In the same period, she becomes a member of the theater company 'Fuori Scena' in Cesena, where she remains for two years. Between 2000 and 2005 she spends her time painting, her other passion. In 2006 she gets back to filmmaking, when she meets Lorenzo Mihaiu, also interested in independent cinema, with whom she starts to work in a more professional way. Together they buy new audio-video material and start to work on original ideas. She hires actors with professional training and chooses each location carefully. In 2008 she wins first prize for the horror film "Il Mistero of Villa De Mahl" at the Video Festival of Imperia and in 2009 the same feature film comes second at the Horror Film Festival in Potenza. Later, 'Nuovo Sole Productions', her production company, remains in the hands of Elena alone, who continues making short films (genre: mystery / drama) when she teams up with her new companion L. Guidi. Having to work without sponsors and with a low budget, at first she cannot focus on the technical quality of the image, however this is compensated by a careful selection of the locations, a good cast and innovative plot ideas. From 2010 she starts producing full-HD quality projects like 'Il Quadro - The Painting', 'Saint Seiya: A New Threat' (a live action dedicated to the cartoon The Knights of the Zodiac, her great passion as a teenager) and 'Parole nel Buio'. Her favorite genres are mystery, paranormal and fantasy, but she also works on dramas. In 2012, she attends the first year of dubbing/voice acting school at 'Studio Enterprise' in the city of Grosseto, where she takes part in laboratories with big names such as Fabrizio Pucci, Luca Biagini and Davide Lepore, in addition she participates in several acting workshops . She worked on the set of other film directors such as Carlo Trevisan, Maurizio Nardelli and Paolo Mariello, as assistant director or actress. In the summer of 2016 she worked for the realization of the Italian singer Povia new song's video clip 'Stare Bene'.
