Ray Josef Aguilar

Aguilar was born in Fairfield, California, and later moved to Ocean Township, New Jersey at the age of 4. RJ's parents are of Filipino descent with lineage of Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Spanish backgrounds. His father, Reynaldo Aguilar, is a PCA at a hospital, and his mother, Marites Aguilar, a nurse at the same hospital. Aguilar has a younger sister, Isabella, and had, as he has described it, a "fortunate childhood" in his middle-class family. He is a Catholic, having been somewhat religious. Aguilar was in a musical choir in middle school and began acting as extras in several high school theatre productions. He makes his first professional appearance in an amateur horror/thriller YouTube TV series, Dead Awakening, directed and produced by Nicholas Ummarino. Aguilar graduated from Saint Rose High School in 2010 and attends The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey studying Political Science and Business Administration as a student in the graduating class of 2014.
