Paul R. Widegren

Paul took up acting at the ripe young age of 47. Since then he has performed in 45 plays in regional theater. He also did several short form improvisation shows. Since coming out to Hollywood he's done four independent films, and a dozen student films. His specialty is comedy. He's done stand up at The Comedy Store and Flappers. He hasn't had much formal training, but draws on a vast well of real life experience. He has been married, divorced and is a father and grandfather. He has worked as an accountant, real estate broker, supermarket cashier, restaurant host, short order cook, entrepreneur, Army sergeant, farm worker, machine operator, bartender, mechanic, taxi driver, and construction worker. He likes to say that whatever the character's job, or whatever he is going through, Paul has probably been there.
