Multimedia personality, producer, and writer, Georgette Pierre, is a force to be reckoned with. In 2003, she grabbed the attention of WNSB's program director at her undergrad, Norfolk State University. Her distinctive voice and charisma sealed the deal, thus beginning her reins as an on-air personality. She continued her rise in radio at WERS 88.9 FM when she attended grad school at Emerson College in Boston. She moved to New York in 2010 where she interned at NYU's WNYC Radio in addition to writing for various outlets including Entertainment Weekly, Blavity, MTV News, VH1, and music site, KillerBoombox (KBX). Her 10+ year broadcast history led her to executive produce and host various podcasts, create a relationship-themed web series called #DearGeorgette (that was featured in two film festivals, NYC Web Fest and the Hollywood Black Film Festival), while working full time in TV production at VH1 and Nickelodeon (where she recently an Emmy). She also served as the first sideline reporter for the inaugural 2018 NBA2K League and was a radio personality at 99Jamz in Miami. She took her efforts back to New York to continue her passion for TV, film, and digital content curation. She started an entertainment media consulting business called GP & Co Creative Studio, to assist in digital content curation, production strategy, and podcasting. When she's not working, you can find Georgette excerpting her life on Twitter and Instagram.
