Michele grew up around the world where she studied classical piano, rode horses bareback and explored miniature worlds nether hedges while learning about generosity of spirit and goodwill from her grandmother in Maine. Fortune befell her as a photojournalist meandering between stability and rattlesnakes, poetic solitude, and the occasional claustrophobia of ordinary life when she transformed herself into a documentary filmmaker and writer who chased the moments when pieces of time overlapped into a profound and uncharted synchronicity. A vigor for life and impetratus are what drives her to photograph remote landscapes, write untold stories and film fascinating subjects.
