Jeremy Jacobs is the owner of the Boston Bruins and TD Garden in Boston. He has served as Chairman of the NHL Board of Governors since 2007 and serves on its Executive Committee. He is frequently cited as one of the most influential and respected people in sports business. He has owned the Boston Bruins for nearly forty of their ninety year history. What he termed his "greatest accomplishment" came when he went on the ice in Vancouver on June 15, 2011 to join in the celebrations as the Bruins won the Stanley Cup, fulfilling his dream of bringing an NHL championship to the city of Boston. Mr. Jacobs is the Chairman & CEO of Delaware North Companies, one of the world's leading hospitality and food service companies. The company's locations include sports stadiums, airports, resorts, gaming venues and airports ranging from Kennedy Space Center and Yosemite National Park to London's Wembley Stadium and the Australian Open. As CEO for nearly half of Delaware North's century-long history, he has led the family-owned company to become one of the largest and most admired privately held companies in North America with $2.6 billion in revenues, serving half a billion customers annually. Mr. Jacobs is extensively involved in numerous charitable efforts, donating generously to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Say Yes to Education, and the University of Buffalo, the Jacobs Institute, the Jimmy Fund, the Boston Bruins Foundation and others. An alumnus of the University of Buffalo's School of Management and the Harvard School of Business Advanced Management Program, he holds honorary doctorates from the University at Buffalo, Canisius College, Niagara University and Johnson and Wales University.
