Sara Robin is a German writer/director and producer based in Los Angeles. Her work focuses on stories of social empowerment across narrative and documentary formats. Her 2013 LGTBQ short Am I Not Your Girl was screened in festivals all over the world, and her 2016 science-fiction short Listeners won Best Cinematography and overall 2nd Place at the 2016 Boston Redstone Film Festival. Sara is a Fulbright Alumna, and her student work at Boston University awarded her a place in Variety's 110 Students to Watch List in 2015. In 2019, Sara wrote and directed the short film Cranberry Nights, a coming of age drama about an undocumented young woman navigating her senior year of high school. A feature version of Cranberry Nights is in development in collaboration with writer Shirley Miller.
