Diana Reneé Cochran was born November 15th, 1992 in Portland, Oregon as the third child of Kevin Cochran, a pilot from the United States Air Force, and Catherine Cochran, a music teacher who later became a cardiac nurse. Diana's father is of Irish, Scottish, Nordic and German decent while her mother, Catherine, is of French and Swiss decent. When she was two Diana's family moved to a small country town in Oregon and there she began school at four years old. Growing up she was a star athlete in soccer, basketball, swim team, track, and was cheer-leading and dance team captain. Her mother achieved a Masters in Music and raised Diana and her siblings to play the piano, the violin, and to sing. Diana was part of many string orchestras and choirs growing up. Her father was a contender for the Judo Olympics and taught Diana and her siblings self-defense while also putting them through Taekwondo. Diana competed in Taekwondo at a very young age and continued her martial arts training at the Inosanto Academy for Martial Arts beginning at the age of twenty three. There she belted in Kali, Silat, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She also trained in Muay Thai Kick Boxing, Shooto Wrestling and Jeet Kune Doe. Diana received her first acting experience at four years old during a school play where she played the role of a carnation flower. Since then she starred in every play she auditioned for. She became the leading role in all the church plays, community theater shows, Melodrama dinner shows, and school plays she could find. She started the drama club in her high school and convinced the school board to add classes in the curriculum that involved performance and acting. During her studies at the University of Oregon she performed in their theater shows while beginning her professional career at The Shedd Institute of Arts, a professional theater company in Eugene, Oregon. During a summer of college she landed her first role in an Independent full-length feature film as Smitty in the Bigfoot Chronicles. She moved to Los Angeles in the Spring of 2016 and began working in short films with up-and-coming filmmakers including Brendan Nagle. She used her martial arts training to her advantage and made the short action flicks Permission Granted, Thirst Date, Elfa Team, Frozen Face Off, Funeral for a Gun, and Sticks and Stones. She then received the leading role of Anima in Artour Bajanov's post-apocalyptic Sci-Fi film, 'Descendent.' Diana has since worked on films such as 'The New Manna' directed by Angelo Libutti, and 'Declan Carter' directed by Quinn Larson.
