Cinque Tang

Cinque Tang was born & raised on the South Side of Chicago, IL. She has a small family with 2 siblings and was raised between her grandmother, mother, aunts and uncle. Her father passed away when she was only 3 years old. She lost her mother in 2012, but dedicates most of her success to her mom because she always encouraged her to be unique, take risks and work hard in life. As for school, she graduated from Bogan High School, acquired her Masters degree from the University of IL Champaign in 2000 and received a Commercial Pilot license in 2004. In 2012, she continued to work towards her Aviation goals but began to acquire a strong interest in indie films. She attended a couple casting calls until she acquired a main character role of "Jay" in Life Under the Rainbow (LUR) part 1 (a new full feature film by Writer and Director Kristie Turner of TruStarr Entertainment). LUR premiered in Chicago May 2013 and was released on DVD and YouTube in the Fall 2013. Tang then acquired the supporting character role of "Tatum" on StudvilleTv Season 2 in the Fall of 2013. 2014 was a busy year, she completed the production of LUR part 2 and it premiered May 2014 and Season 2 of StudvilleTv in September 2014. She has also made guest appearances in a few Indie Artist music videos and hosted a video interview for another upcoming Indie film in 2013. So Whats Next? Tang is a Pilot for major US passenger airline and finally making strong progress with her Aviation career. In 2015, Tang will begin production of "Fam" as Dj Maya under Director Faith Trimel. Tang would like to eventually acquire a role in a Tv commercial or Mainstream film. In the meantime, she is enjoying all the wonderful people she meets on a daily basis through her travels and with film projects.
