Lish Bliss was nearly born into a pack of wolves native to Wisconsin. It didn't happen, but nearly did as a small farm deep in the countryside definitely qualifies it as an "almost". This truly explains her love of nature, wild spirit and knack for animal noises. Far from opportunity, Lish yearned for something more than her animalistic, boonies upbringing so she became jack of all trades and can do things like drive a tractor, target/trap shoot, ride a horse and rope a calf. She participated in many extracurricular activities at her countryside school including choir, band, dance, art club, student council, sports and theater. She also made at-home-movies, once her family could afford a camcorder, which started a fire in her entertainment dreams. Acting! She suddenly knew the animal inside her was destined for that career. She had been in rodeo for years so she eventually decided to ride her horse to the big city of Los Angeles in order to fulfill her entertainment dreams and attended a prestigious three-year acting (and directing) conservatory. Lish studied intensely for a few years but decided to take a small side journey to "find herself" by living in India. Upon her return to the states, Lish continued self-discovery journey by entering the world of improv and comedy. Her whole life changed. Her acting abilities suddenly clicked. She began winning awards for her theatre roles which also lead to receiving a full scholarship to study under some comedy greats. Oh my! Somewhere in the mix, Lish decided to give focus to the production/directing/casting side of the entertainment world and was grateful to have expanded her knowledge but the camera and the world of comedy called her back to the spotlight. Lish formerly claimed iO West as her comedy home but has found a new family in M.i.'s Westside Comedy Theater and is grateful for the community embracing her wild animal noises and behaviors. She performs regularly with Mission IMPROVable, other improv teams and also alone throughout Los Angeles. If you ever hear a bark or howl in LA, you should consider for a moment that it may be the one and only, Lish Bliss. Awoooo. NOTE: Lish was born as "Alisha Bakkum" and formerly used the stage name "Lish Ananda" but now, is known across the board as "Lish Bliss"
