A true southern charmer, Jerald Jay Savage is an American actor. Jerald JaVon Savage was born in Savannah, GA. He is the only child of his care giver mother Christine Ferguson (Savage), the youngest of his retired police officer stepfather Jerome Ferguson and next to the last of his factory worker biological father Willie James Moore, Jr. After graduating from high school Jerald enrolled at Morris Brown College in Atlanta , GA on both band and choral scholarships with the intent on a career in Computer Science. He would later change his major to Sociology and become a social worker upon graduation. Fast forward through the years and Jerald would find himself in between work and figuring out his next move. While attending weekly bible study Jerald was asked by his church choir director, Greg Kirkland, to join a choir for a musical stage play written by Mark E. Swinton and presented by Tyler Perry. Having done his share of high school and college musicals Jerald jumped at the opportunity and caught the acting bug. He lives and is represented in the Atlanta Metropolitan area where her continues to hone his craft and land roles in television and film. Jerald is a father of two and a classically trained culinary artist that loves to cook in his spare time.
