Ali Bakan

Ali Bakan was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1969. His music life started by taking baglama lessons (baglama is a traditional Turkish folk instrument) at the age of ten. Then he learned to play the guitar and piano. He performed many of his tunes on local stages with local musicians. He has produced many jingles, short movie soundtracks and movie trailer musics. In 2004, he has produced intro and outro musics for an animation movie called Kalbin Zamani (2004) by Ali Özgentürk He's been working as a sound engineer in Sebit, a company developing educational software globally for more than ten years. At the same time, he is producing sound effects, music, and sound design for two different animation series for TRT Çocuk - the Turkish national kids channel - whose names are Aslan and Ibi.
