Rob Michaelson

Rob Michaelson was born in Miami Beach, FL, to a family of Soviet Immigrants. As a toddler, his family moved to Skokie, Illinois, where he began his schooling and learning proper English. His voracious appetite for the spotlight was evident in his class clownery and he was eventually coached into pursuing the dramatic arts. He attended Niles North High School and was extremely active in the theatre program. Upon graduating, Rob bounced around different higher education institutions before graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Political Science. After short stints at various jobs in Chicago, Rob began pursuing comedy at the Second City Chicago and eventually left Chicago to backpack South East Asia and Australia for a year. His expedition to far off lands confirmed his suspicion that he was meant for bright lights of Los Angeles, where he resides as writer and performer. Rob is fluent in Russian, 90's jams, and Chicago sports trivia.
