Omar Salmon

Omar is an artist that was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. For the longest time in Omar's life he knew he wanted to do something that would touch and change lives. After watching his favorite actor, Denzel Washington in the film Malcolm X, a Spike Lee Joint; he would say that he "caught the bug". He couldn't put it into words at that time, but he could just feel that he had to be an actor. As he went on to pursue the art of acting he met a woman who gave him new life and perspective on the craft. Her name is Susan Batson. She really has been a helping hand in him growing and maturing within the art. Omar trained under the great acting coach/teacher Susan Batson along with another wonderful coach/teacher, Carl Ford for a number of years. After tons of hard work and dedication under the tutelage of Susan and Carl, Omar has gone on to book numerous projects within the industry. Some of Omar's recent successes include Broadcasting Christmas where he played alongside veteran actor Dean Cain. The VH1 show The Breaks. Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival Winner, Makeup and Breakup... also numerous commercials that have aired throughout the nation and abroad. Omar is looking forward to growing as an artist and taking on roles that will help to change the lens in which people use to view the world and the people in it. Stay tuned!
