Nicole Katzew is a Mexican Actress, Performer and Singer of Russian and Polish background based in NYC. She has worked on theatre and independent films, in-front and behind camera. Nicole started training at a young age in Mexico City. As a child she studied acting in "Casa Azul Artes Escenicas Argos" and classical singing. She had a small roll in the Mexican film "Amar Te Duele". At age 16 she starred in the play "New York I Love You" winning first place at the Habima Theatre Festival. One year later she played Carlota, a supporting role in the play "A Bad Day". Nicole attended "Berklee College of Music" in Boston, for the 2010 summer program and "Fermatta" music school in Mexico City from 2008 to 2010. In 2011 she move to NYC to gain an Acting Conservatory at the "New York Film Academy" where she graduated June 2013. Since moving to New York, Nicole has starred in several Off Off Broadway shows including "A Pure Nonsense Play" at the Players Club in Gramercy Park , independent films and worked behind the camera as an AD and Script Supervisor. She directed her first short documentary "Walks of Life" in 2013. During spring 2015 Nicole played lead the role of Millicent in the production of "Brave Smiles. Another Lesbian Tragedy", written by the Five Lesbian Brothers and directed by Jim Furlog at the Hudson Guild Theatre. In the summer and fall she worked on the films "Legacy" and "Dying with dignity" as 1st Assistant Director. Nicole will be working on several projects in 2016 as well as taking the workshop "Actor / Director" by producer Bertha Navarro in Mexico City.
