A Baltimore native this quick-witted girl next door, is blessed with glamour girl moments and a delightful hometown charm. Nikiva Dionne studied Fashion in New York where she also began her Modeling career before moving to Los Angeles where she is currently an Actress with unparalleled work ethic and a learning spirit that makes her a desirable talent. Nikiva Dionne made her network television debut Fall 2015 in the Season 2 premiere of the CW's hit show, 'Jane the Virgin' as a Nurse. Nikiva has had the privilege of portraying a range of powerful law enforcing characters to medical school drop outs that serve the crime world. Nikiva's edgy confidence and poised presence make her on screen presence intriguing and instinctive. You can see Nikiva recurring in Seasons 3 & 4 of ABC'S A Million Little Things as Shanice Williamson, also in Seasons 3,4 & 5 of the hit HBO series Insecure as Stacy Sutton an opinionated attorney in a predominately black law firm. Nikiva is also recurring as the powerful, resilient and sexually intriguing Deputy District Attorney Nia Wells on the CBS hit series S.W.A.T. Additionally, Nikiva is stepping into an exciting new role in the miniseries Lady in the Lake based on the book and true story that took place in Nikiva's hometown in the late 1960's. In her own words Nikiva Dionne attributes her potential to "Born and raised in Baltimore I saw talent all around me with no outlet. I watched some of that talent die. I watched some of it written off as a childhood dream. My mother pushed me to leave my comfort zone. In moving to New York I realized dreams didn't die because you grew up, they died because you gave up or because they weren't nurtured and supported. I learned how much the world had to offer but also how competitive it would be. I got smarter, stronger, and hungrier. I began aspiring for things I once never knew existed. There (NY) I learned I could compete and how to do it. No longer afraid of my dreams I embraced them and headed to Hollywood. The moment I knew my purpose, it was no longer an option, it was written!"
