Max Tobin is a London and Birmingham-based filmmaker from Dudley, West Midlands, England, UK. Since 2015 he has written and directed multiple narrative short films, documentaries and music videos, which have screened at national and international film festivals, and received accolades including the Royal Television Society's inaugural 'Young Filmmaker Award.' He is a Videographer and Content Creator at Electric House - pushing the boundaries of short-form digital content with his hugely popular 'Ministry Of...' series across YouTube, TikTok and Snapchat. He's also a member of the Shoot The Messenger filmmaking collective. At age 15 Max produced his first short: 'The Light Switch' which screened at the Vancouver International Film Festival as part of the Reel Youth programme. Following this he received a sponsorship from Sony Creative Software and began producing commercial content, including work for the charity Under Tree Schools. Since then Max's narrative films have screened at more global film festivals (including Aesthetica International Film Festival, New Renaissance Film Festival and Birmingham International Film Festival) and won multiple awards, including three from the Royal Television Society. He's also a musician with two albums titled "A Moment Please" and "Doubt Creeps In."
