Keven was born into a Moroccan-American family and raised in Europe, central Africa, the Middle-East, and the Southwestern U.S. In high school, he spent much of his free time on the soccer field, volleyball court or running cross-country and track. While pursuing International Environmental Studies at the University of the Pacific, Keven decided to completely switch gears and pursue his passion for acting and directing. Keven first landed on California's Central Coast at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts where he studied, acting, movement, voice and speech, dance, musical-theatre, Shakespeare, stage combat and even clowning. It was two years of intensive study that only made him hungry for more. Upon graduation, Keven moved east to attend graduate school. He received his MFA from the Professional Actor Training Program at Ohio University in alliance with the Tony Award winning Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. After graduation, Keven toured and worked in regional theatre for a couple of years as actor, acting teacher, director and choreographer before settling in L.A. where he began to build his commercial resume alongside his immersion in the world of film and TV. While acting was his first connection to professional storytelling, he now enjoys working as a writer, story producer and director.
