Conor Powell

Conor Powell is a successful podcast host, multimedia producer and veteran TV journalist with more than a decade of experience covering major news stories and creating gripping and powerful content from around the world. After more than 15 years in television news covering the wars and conflicts of the Middle East, Conor began creating podcasts in 2018. He has worked on all aspects of podcast production. Including hosting and writing The Lords of Soccer: How FIFA Stole the Beautiful Game for iHeart Radio. The twelve-part true crime series tells the history of the decades long corruption that has plagued soccer's governing body, FIFA. He also wrote, produced and hosted Long Shots: A Very Political Podcast which examined the campaigns of eight presidential hopefuls who failed to capture the White House, but still impacted America's politics. Long Shots was nominated for two Los Angeles Press Club Awards. His latest project, Death Island, for KT Studios and iHeart Radio is set to be released in October of 2022. Conor continues to work as a freelance producer and reporter for CNN, KT Studios, iHeart Radio and his written work has appeared in The Daily Beast, Podcast Business Journal, Front Page Live, Richmond Times Dispatch, The Hill Newspaper and The National Review.
