Andrew Daly began his training at The Nutmeg Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Torrington, CT and continued his training at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre under the direction of Franco DeVita, following summer intensives with Kaatsbaan, San Francisco Ballet, and The School of American Ballet on scholarship. With the ABT JKO School, he has performed in The Sleeping Beauty and in American Ballet Theatre's productions of Cinderella, The Sleeping Beauty, and Manon. Mr. Daly joined Pennsylvania Ballet as an Apprentice and was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2009. During his career at Pennsylvania Ballet, Mr. Daly has performed in numerous ballets choreographed by Agnes de Mille, August Bournonville, Jerome Robbins, John Cranko, Marius Petipa, and Twyla Tharp. His featured roles include Ben Stevenson's Cinderella (Dumpy Stepsister), Matthew Neenan's Penumbra and Keep, John Butler's Carmina Burana (White Solo), Peter Martins' Fearful Symmetries (Three Men), and Sir Frederick Ashton's La Fille mal gardée (Alain). His Balanchine repertoire includes Jewels (Emerald's Pas de Trois), Agon (Second Pas de Trois), The Four Temperaments (Melancholic, First Theme), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Demetrius, Bottom), George Balanchine's The Nutcracker(TM) (Candy Cane, Tea), and Slaughter on Tenth Avenue (The Hoofer, Morrosine). He has also danced in Alexei Ratmansky's Jeu de Cartes, Christopher Wheeldon's Swan Lake and Polyphonia, and in Jerome Robbins' Fancy Free and In G Major. Mr. Daly danced in the world premieres of Benjamin Millepied's This Part in Darkness, Matthew Neenan's At Various Points, and Peter Quanz' Jupiter Symphony, as well as the Company premieres of Christopher Wheeldon's Carnival of the Animals, Mauro Bigonzetti's Kazmir's Colours, Roland Petit's Carmen (Le Chef Bandit), William Forsythe's The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude and Artifact Suite, and Jiri Kylián's Petit Mort (Foil Pas). In 2010, Mr. Daly was a dancer in the Academy Award Winning Movie, "Black Swan" directed by Darren Aronofsky. In 2013, Mr. Daly performed First Theme from Balanchine's The Four Temperaments for Ballet Across America III at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. In April 2014, Mr. Daly joined the cast of the TV drama Flesh & Bone, written by Moira Walley-Beckett and choreographed by Ethan Steifel for the STARZ Network, as a series regular.
