Born in 1954 as Denise Margaret Behringer to Allen Behringer and Gloria Behringer (nee Duncan). She grew up in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney (Australia). Denise served in the NSW Police for over twenty years, where she worked in a variety of areas, including recruitment, the media unit and public relations. In the 90's she was the Police Representative on ATN 7's Australia's Most Wanted, hosted by Ann Sanders.
