Francesca Nider is a writer, actress and producer, known for Our Father (2019), Swipe Love (2011), and 50 Ways to Kill Your Lover (2014). Born and raised in Italy and bilingual thanks to an all-American schooling, she now lives in the North York Moors after over 10 years in London, where she trained as a Meisner actress and subsequently started her screenwriting journey. Her first short, Swipe Love, won the Flirtomatic dating app competition and she eventually put her Business Development career on ice to gain an MA in Film with Raindance /Staffordshire University. Her recent short film, Our Father, which she wrote and co-produced, had its world premiere at the Raindance Film Festival in September 2019. Her feature-length script The Sins of Our Mothers, a story born of her own family's refugee history in the aftermath of WW2, was in the Top 50 Finalists of the ScreenCraft Drama Competition 2019.
