Shane Francis Smith

Shane Francis Smith was born in Los Angeles California in 2001, the youngest child of Peter and Kathleen McGowan. His first break came when he was 11 years old and The Walt Disney Company cast him as a lead in their short film, Habit Heroes. Shane played Dynamo, the action hero, and Shane and Habit Heroes became an attraction at Epcot Center which ran there from 2012 to 2015. Shane has since had roles in a number of hit television shows, and is most well known for his five-season stint as Killian, the kid next door, in the F/X comedy, "You're the Worst." Shane's mother is bestselling author Kathleen McGowan. The story of Shane's critical illness at birth, and his miraculous recovery, is the subject of her book The Source of Miracles. Shane's father is Irish-born musician Peter Mc Gowan.
