Recognised as a former lead live vocalist for Basement Jaxx - London (UK) based International singer, DJ, songwriter & formerly one half of electronic duo Them&Us - Ami Carmine's credentials as both Vocalist and DJ have seen her perform and headline multiple events across the world, including Glastonbury, Roskilde, Pukklepop, Creamfields, Field Day, V Festival and also as guest DJ at notable events such as London Fashion Week, Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland, Cubanisto's 'House Of Mask', F1 Grand Prix Singapore, Britain's Got More Talent, plus high profile store events for the likes of Fashion brands : Vans, Topshop, Superdry, Motel Rocks, Diesel, Reebok, Steve Madden, Warehouse and Lyle & Scott. A multi - genre DJ and lover of many different styles of music, Ami's DJ sets range from Classic/Commercial House, Dance & Remixes to Underground Bass, Future Bass Trap & Hip Hop. Ami's former project 'Them&Us' (alongside acclaimed Beatboxer Killa Kela) hit the Number 1 spot in 2017 in the Beatport Breaks chart in collaboration with Breaks heavyweights Stanton Warriors & Night Bass' Jay Robinson on their single 'Bang' - which garnered support from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, R3hab, Annie Nightingale and in which DJ Mag named their April 2017 'Money Shot'. As vocalist and songwriter, Ami has collaborated with Grammy Nominated New York House Pioneer Todd 'The God' Terry (In House/Armada), DJ Zinc, Jay Robinson (Night Bass) & Conrank (Circus Records) with music released on the respective labels in 2018, and in July 2018, scored her first number one song, as co - writer of 'Shot Thru The Heart' for K Pop/J Pop sensation 'Twice' on their Number one selling album 'Summer Nights' Continuously working across number of projects, Ami has been Djing across the UK as character 'Umlaut' alongside Matt King (actor & Peep Show character Superhans) as part of his Big Beat Manifesto tour, is the face of clothing brand Superdry for 'Superdry Sounds' as one of 7 international breakthrough artists they are supporting in 2018 More recently supported UK artist Example at Manchester Academy as part of his 2019 Club tour & will be Djing on the Mau5trap stage at Creamfirlds 2019 Ami also joined the panel of judges for Series 2 of BBC1's TV talent show 'All Together Now' alongside Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, and Hosted by UK comedian Rob Beckett, airing in Feb/March 2019.
