Mira O'Connell was born September 11, 1971 in Amarillo TX. On July 19, 2002 she survived a near fatal home invasion. Mira later went on to become a police officer and then a Sergeant. She speaks publicly to schools, businesses, and organizations nationwide. She has earned a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Education and Criminal Justice at Wayland Baptist University. As well as a Masters of Arts in Business and Security Management from Webster University.
