Maxwell Korn is an American actor, writer, and voice talent. Born in Durham, North Carolina, to a loving and supportive family of 'funny people,' Maxwell Korn was influenced by his grandfather Nick Meglin (a humorist and long-time editor/contributor of Mad Magazine), and by the comedy of Jim Carrey and Robin Williams. A lover of theater and film from an early age, he often sang and did celebrity impressions at the dinner table. Performing in local show choirs such as Spotlight, Performance Edge, Evening of Entertainment, he also attended the NCMEA High School Honor's Chorus, and the North Carolina Governor's School. One of only 16 students accepted, he graduated from Elon University's BFA Music Theatre program, where he trained in classical singing, accents/dialects, and Meisner acting. After getting discovered in a production of Spring Awakening by a casting director, Maxwell booked his first film role: 42 (the Jackie Robinson biopic starring Chadwick Boseman). Later in New York, he would further his training in various workshops (including Bob Krakower, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Gotham Writers) and land several more roles on network television and the indie film circuit. Maxwell resides in both New York and the Southeast where he continues acting, doing voiceover, and writing and producing his own content.
