Kevin J Nelson

Born in West Palm beach, Florida, Nelson became a 1st generation, Haitian American who was raised by a single parent mother. An immigrant, who relocated to the states to give her kids a better life. At the age of 11, Nelson and his family moved to the heart of North Philadelphia, where he discovered his talent for writing. After moving to Atlanta in 2009 to further pursue his passion, he wrote his first short film "Married To The Money" and returned to Philadelphia to produce it. Due to the success of the short, he later found investors willing to finance the full length project. He teamed up with his partner Vel Images, formed a company "1804Films", which is the year Haiti gained it's Independence (01.1.1804). And is now a writer for hire while freelance producing film projects in the LA area. Nelson has written over 20 full length features and recently Created and Produced I-One Digital's Tv show "Chasing Hollywood". He wrote and directed "Dude Next Door", "Swipe" and Produced two full length features late 2018 entitled, "Fatally Flawless" and "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life". Currently in development for 2020 will be a faith based feature Nelson wrote for Percy Miller entitled, "God Is Real" and "Fatally Flawless 2".
