Amelia Croft

Amelia Croft (December 29, 2004) is a Canadian actress, singer, song writer, and writer. She is the daughter of award-winning writer Gillian Croft, and second cousin to Peter Barron (BBC, Channel 4, and (retired) Communications Director for Google) and Liz Barron (who brought Teletubbies to North America). Amelia began acting professionally at age 7 after she met her step cousin Natasha Calis at a wedding, and then decided that she would be an actress too. She was signed immediately by an agent. Despite living on an island, Amelia commuted twelve hours every weekend for a year and a half to the mainland so that she could pursue training. In the years since, Amelia has worked in theatre, film, and television. She has done radio interviews, modeling, and is currently working on her first album. Amelia feels very strongly that we all have a responsibility to bring hope and joy to those around us. She hopes that her fans would please join her in supporting the Make a Wish Foundation, Give Kids the World, and the David Foster Foundation. She believes strongly that people should stand up for the rights of those who have no voice of their own, especially those with Disabilities. She is very close to her sister who has a severe disability and who is also extremely musical.
