Mark Anthony Games was 32 before he discovered the world of acting. Whilst studying Sports Science at University an accidental encounter with drama students changed his life. Mark had been writing since a very early age, a coping mechanism for a difficult childhood. After conversations with Drama students Mark set about converting his writing into short scripts. In 2013, without any previous experience, Mark wrote, directed and produced his first short film. A few months later Mark had switched degree to study Joint Honours Drama & Performance, and Screenwriting. By the end of 2013 Mark founded his own production company, Human Voice Productions. This not-for-profit production company began making short films that highlight social and community issues. All cast and crew were volunteers and the productions were financed in majority by Mark's student loan. All films were released straight to You Tube. The first full screenplay Mark wrote went on to achieve almost 250,000 views online. Mark took on his first acting role when an actor was unable to attend the filming of a Human Voice production. Mark realised that the emotions of his past could be channelled into creating deep and complex characters. Keen to enhance his understanding of the film world Mark auditioned for acting roles and secured his debut leading role in the feature film Drinking Class (Millard, 2014). Between 2013 and 2016 Mark secured leading roles in over 30 independent productions, including short film, feature film and stage. In addition to this Human Voice Productions produced 11 films. Despite the busy life Mark graduated with 1st Class honours in 2016 and then in 2017 enrolled on a Master's Degree reading Writing for Script and Screen.
