Michael John Jinks, born 18th September 1990, grew up in Kingstanding, Birmingham, England. After a stint working for the NHS Michael left Birmingham aged 20, to live and train in London. He has worked consistently across theatre/TV/Film winning an Olivier award in 2019 with Flesh & Bone. His first Hollywood feature film came in the summer of 2017, this time at Nu Boyana film studios to shoot Hitman's Bodyguard directed by Patrick Hughes. (Starring Ryan Reynolds, Gary Oldman and Samuel L Jackson) Michael has performed in internationally acclaimed theatre productions, and in 2017 made his Off-Broadway Debut in "Underground" at the Prestigious 59E59 in NYC. He also made his Southern Hemisphere Debut in Australia in February 2018, in the critically acclaimed "Flesh & Bone" For which Mirro Mag, named him the best actor at The Edinburgh Fringe fest 2017. Michael & the cast of Flesh & Bone won an Olivier Award 2019 for an *Outstanding achievement in an affiliate theatre* Michael recently completed a MA in Philosophy, and is on the Soho Theatre Writers lab 2020/2021.
