Amber Rainey

Amber Renee Rainey (née Lester) was born May 17, 1977, in Long Beach, California, to Robbie and Gary "Butch" Lester. Butch was a Staff Sargeant in the US Marine Corps and she spent the first few years of her life in Hawaii before returning to Texas. Her father was killed in the North Sea during an active duty NATO training exercise in 1982. She was raised in Canton, Texas, and attended school in the small town where her interest in drama and theater began. She has always loved books and films for their ability to transcend worlds. She was a very shy, introverted person as a teenager and decided to pursue Information Technology as a career. After working in IT for almost twenty years, she returned to her love of acting and directing. She has been extensively trained in broadsword, rapier, and cutlass stunt fighting as well as archery with both bow and arrow and crossbow. She also has abilities in boxing and ballroom dancing. She has written and directed several films and continues to hone her skills in film production. She lives near Austin, Texas with her husband and son.
