Born Natalie Kathleen Newton in Chula Vista, California to Antonia Armijo Newton and ATC Robert W. Newton; The daughter of a career Navy man, Natalie grew up in different areas of the world including the Philippines and Japan. Her father's last tour was Lockheed Aircraft Corporation in Burbank, California when he retired in 1973. It was about that time she discovered her love for the performing arts. She joined the drama club in junior and senior high school, but as real life took over, her family moved to her mother's hometown of Las Vegas, New Mexico where she met her husband Michael Benavidez and started a family. They moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1985 and both began careers with State Government. After retiring December 31, 2010, her passion for performing arts was still calling. In 2012, the New Mexico film industry started taking off and she decided to answer an extras casting call in the local newspaper for Disney's The Lone Ranger, and that's where it began for her. She immediately fell in love with the all the excitement and chaos of the motion picture industry. Since then she has worked on dozens of television and movie productions as an extra including core for WGN's MANH(A)TTAN and AMC's Preacher, has appeared in some local commercials and PSAs and most recently had a supporting role in the movie The Adventures of Jubeez: Kid Boss scheduled for release late 2018. Natalie has one brother Michael and his wife Glynda, two children, Joseph and Miquella and three grandchildren, Briana Rose, Dominic and Ariana. She and her family reside in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
