Besart Sllamniku was born on May 25, 1984 in Pristina, Kosovo. Immediately after Besart graduated at the "Sami Frashëri" Gymnasium in 2003, he stayed in Prishtina to enroll in the studies at the Faculty of Arts in Pristina. There, he developed his stage work. His first stage role was in "Secrets of Love" directed by his professor and mentor Faruk Begolli and Armond Morina. He appeared in many stage roles, mainly to his friend projects Kushtrim Koliqi in National and local theatres. In 2012 he will meet with Genc Berisha and discuss their first film Të Mjerët (2013), which will be considered by film elite and critics as production of the year. Të Mjerët was independent dark-thriller hit, although not received by the wider audience, Besart was labeled as a film actor. In subsequent years Besart will play in several short films, but cooperation with Genc Berisha will still leave a mark on Kosovo cinematography. They both worked in two other films, If We Can Do It We Will Do It (2015) and Zonjusha (2016).
