Steven Renso

In 2006 he graduated from the film course "Videoimage and creativity - Dream On Project", held by Carlo Tombola, in Verona. For his final examination project, together with his group he presented a video clip against drugs, which would then be presented at the 2007 Mtv Awards Italia. His experience in the world of of cinema began as a cameramen and technical assistant on several sets: musical videoclips (Kattiva, Dorian Gray), web format for youtube Italy (Made in Chinema), corporate commercials (Pringles, Twils). He then actively collaborated with various artists on the Italian music scene: among them Timothy Cavicchini, finalist at The Voice 2013 and current jury member of the program "All Together Now" program. With the same artist he directed the campaign for the tuning company Reklam, in collaboration with Lamborghini. In 2013 he made his cinematic debut writing and directing the short film Rumble, a pulp-action eulogy to explonation cinema. From there follows his full length film Embers, a Noir feature film starring Raja Sethi (Suburra, Bangla), and Claudio Santoriello. In 2017 he directed the historical short film Kastriota, focused on the figure of the Albanian national hero Gjergj Kastriota Scanderbeg, with Rimi Beqiri (Altin in the city) in the role of the protagonist. Both productions have been awarded several nominations and awards in various national and international festivals. Among them: Macedonia Film Festival, London Liff Film Festival, Rome Prisma Awards and the Rome Web Awards.
